Air Inlet Manifold
Description:
This is made of a layer of neoprene on the inside and nitrile rubber on the outside. This is like a hose with circular cross-section at one end and elliptical cross-section at the other.

Location:
Under the Bonnet.

Usage:
For conveying air to the engine.



Molded Hoses
Description:
Used for conveying air, coolant and fuel from the respective pumps to the engine, radiator, turbo inter-cooler etc.

Location:
Inside the Bonnet.

Usage:
In all Vehicles.



Bellows
Description:
Useualy made of EPDM for good heat and weathering resistance.

Location:
At several places in the vehicles.

Usage:
In all Vehicles.



Grommet Dipstick Guide
Description:
Made of nitrile rubber. AS the name suggest it guides the dipstick into the oil Tank to check oil level.

Location:
Near the mouth of the oil Tank .

Usage:
In all Vehicles.



Mud Gaurds
Description:
To prevent muddy slush from being spread from the wheels to under the carriage during movement of the vehicles, particularly during rainy season.

Location:
Behind the front and rear tyres.

Usage:
In all Vehicles .

O-rings
Discription:
Rings of circular profile as the name suggests eith rectangular , square or circular cross section to prevent metal to metal contact between piston & cylinders & other components / assemblies with relative enviornment to prevent fluid leakage in pumps, valves & compressors etc.

Oil Seals
Description:
To prevent oil linkages at elevated pressures & tempreatures in hydraulic oil pumps.

Location :
In hydraulic oil pumps

Usage :
All vehicles

 

Gaskets
Description:
Metal bonded, plain & profiled rubber gaskets for sealing metal to meta interfaces to prevent noise & vibration during movement. Some of them are required to withstand high temperature with anti flaming properties.

Location:
The end covers of many assemblies.

Usage:
In all Vehicles .
